ELKS MEMORIAL SERVICE NEXT SUNDAY
Sunday, December 1, is set aside by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks us memorial day to be observed in commemoration of the deceased members. In accordance with the usual custom the local lodge of Elks will observe the occasion with appropriate ceremonies in Wysor Grand opera house. A Committee composed of Harry R. Wysor, chairman; Will Youse, P. P. Busch, John C. Gray and Charles O. Grafton has completed arrangements for the affair. The observance is held annually to honor especially the memory of those who have departed during the past year. E. W. Bishop died in the latter part of 1900 and the last death was that of R. C. Hemingray in 1901. The other deceased members of the local lodge are: Charles D. Beemer, John R. Erwin, George L. Lenon, E. Will Kirk and Joseph Grissell. The public is invited to attend the services Sunday. Seats will be reserved only for members of the lodge and their families. "The services will begin at 2:30 o'clock, the doors being opened an hour earlier. The following program has been arranged:
