SECOND ASSEMBLY DANCE.


A Brilliant Social Event Given in the Shirk

Hall.


In Shirk's hall, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion, the second assembly dance of the season was given, last evening. It was the social season's principal dress affair, coming as it did, during the holidays. Many visitors, both women and men, from other cities were present. All suitable holiday decorations were in evidence about the spacious hall. Beau­tiful light effects rendered the scene more brilliant. The two-step and waltz constituted the program of dances. The patronesses were Mrs. Will Little, Mrs. J. Arthur Meeks and Mrs. John Kirby. The next assembly probably will be in February.
