A Number of Pleasant Social Events for

To-day.

This evening a party of young people will give a moonlight picnic at West Muncie for Misses Mabel and Ethel Botkin, of Portland, who are visiting here.

Misses Pearl Davenport, Eva Dungan, Agnes Poland and Messrs, Roy Hathaway, Robert Dusang and Arthur Dungan are picnicking at High Bank today.

The Grand United Order of Odd Fel­lows is holding a picnic in the Whitely woods today. The members are ac­companied by their wives and friends and an enjoyable day is being spent in the woods.

Misses Sue Hemingray, Emily Howe, Marie Smith, Blanche Winters, Harriet Hover, of Lima, O.; Messrs Harry Orr, Harry Sparks, John McMillin, Will Haymond, Harry Hartley, Walter Gregory and Ralph Bard compose a party that is picnicking at High Banks east of Muncie, today.

The families of J. M. and W. H. Long and a number of friends are picnick­ing at High Banks today. They start­ed early this morning, taking, their dinner and supper. The return trip will be made this evening.

A crowd of students from the university will picnic at Eaton park today. The party will go in a hay wagon.
