Clifford Shinkle defeated in golf by local players

Shinkle Defeated.

In the golf contest at the Country club links yesterday between Messrs. Robert Walker and Paul Powers, of this city, and Mr. Shinkle, of Cincinnati, the local players defeated the visitors by the score of seven up. The players played 18 holes. Mr. Shinkle covered the distance in 121; Mr. Powers 112; Mr. Walker, 115. Mr. Walker served luncheon at the club house last evening in honor of Mr. Shinkle.
