The Hemingray Glass Co., of Muncie, Ind., which has been using natural gas for many years, has equipped a coal burning furnace for use this winter, and will probably arrange all its tanks so that producer gas may be used. The coal furnace has given success, and the workmen are anxious to have coal substituted for natural gas. Other glass factories will probably follow suit.
