EXAMINING NEW GAS.

Muncie Glass Manufactures are in

Pennsylvania for a Purpose.

E. B, Ball and Ralph Hemingray, the glass manufacturers, have gone to Middletown, Tenn [sic] Penn., where they will examine a new method of manufacturing gas. The new process is said to produce a gas much cleaner than that of the older processes and this is its special recommendation. For some time the one fault of artificial gas in glass manufacture is that it has been very dirty. At this time neither of the two men have any idea of installing a gas plant to supply their factory, but they are taking precautions against the fail­ure of natural gas.
