Commercial Club Takes a Hand to Help

At the meeting of the Commercial club which was held last right in the club rooms, railroad business occupied most of the time. President Brown, of the C., I. & E., and Harry Drew, of the same road, were present. They asked the co-operation of the Commercial club in getting their terminal located, and for this purpose a committee was appointed. The committee is com­posed of F. C. Ball, R, J. Beatty, Bert Whiteley, George F. McCulloch, A. L. Johnson, A. J. Meeks, J. C. Johnson, O. B. Bannister, Ralph Hemingray and James Boyce. In Indianapolis on the 15th of the present month, the above committee will meet the freight agents of the different railroads running to this city with an idea of getting a freight rate on coal.

A committee composed of A. L. Johnson, B. W. Bennett, J. C. Johnson, George F. McCulloch and R. Scott was appointed to make nominations of club officials for the coming year.
