A Great Glass Center.
Muncie, Ind., lays good claim to being one of the great glass manufacturing centers of the country. Ten large continuous tanks and one pot furnace are now in operation there. There are two large window tanks; Ball Bros. have five tanks on pressed bottles and jars and one tank on white liners for fruit jars; the Hemingray Glass Co. have a flint pot furnace and a large tank on bottles, insulators, and a general line of flint ware, and the Boldt Glass Co. have a large tank on bottles.
