Glass factories in Muncie resume

GLASS FACTORIES RESUME.

Fires Lighted at The Hemingray and

Ball Brothers' Plants.

MUNCIE, Ind., March 2. — Fire was placed beneath the big tank in the Hemingray glass factory this morning, and the factory will be placed in operation in about ten days after a shutdown lasting several months. Ralph G. Hemingray, of the company, says that the improvement in business conditions warrarnts the re­sumption. Four hundred and fifty men will be given employment.

Ball Brothers’ big factory is gradually resuming operations. The fires have been lighted beneath another tank, and addi­tional workmen will he given employment within a few days.
