GLASS FACTORIES RESUME.
Fires Lighted at The Hemingray and
Ball Brothers' Plants.

MUNCIE, Ind., March 2. — Fire was placed beneath the big tank in the Hemingray glass factory this morning, and the factory will be placed in operation in about ten days after a shutdown lasting several months. Ralph G. Hemingray, of the company, says that the improvement in business conditions warrarnts the resumption. Four hundred and fifty men will be given employment.
Ball Brothers’ big factory is gradually resuming operations. The fires have been lighted beneath another tank, and additional workmen will he given employment within a few days.
