175 WORKERS TO
RETURN TO JOBS
Hemingray Employes to Be
Recalled.
Approximately 175 employes of the Hemingray Glass Company will be returned to work beginning about next Monday, it was announced Wednesday by W. Paul Zimmerman, secretary and treasurer of the company.
One large unit and a small one will be fired up and the men will be returned to work as the process progresses. The entire number for the two tanks probably will be on duty within two weeks from Monday. Zimmerman said. The tanks will be kept in operation for several months.
Only regular employes of the company will be retained for the resumption of production, it was announced. The status of the plant at this time is normal. Mr. Zimmerman said, and when the bottle season arrives the full force will be taken on-as usual.
