The Hemingray Glass Co., of Covington, Ky., with factory at Muncie, Ind., report a strong demand for caster place ware and lamps, and they have 28 shops on insulators. This firm and the Bushwick glass works at Brooklyn, N. Y., are the chief producers of glass insulators, and have a sort of understanding on prices and division of territory that amounts to practically a very profitable little combine. The only other factory making a specialty of insulators, is the small Novelty plant operated by Parker Bros., at Elmer, N.J.
