START ONE TANK
Hemingray Company to Recall
100 Employes.
The Hemingray Glass Company, glass bottle manufacturers, will resume operations in the course of 10 days, Philip W. McAbee, president, announced Wednesday. The plant has been closed down two or three weeks because of lack of storage space.
Number 2 tank is being warmed up now, Mr. McAbee said, and when operteions [sic] operations are started approximately 100 men will be given employment. Former employees will be summoned, of course, and no new jobs will be available.
Operations will be at about 50 per cent. Immediate praspects [sic] prospects do not point to a higher percentage of operations, according to Mr. McAbee. Production is being resumed to meet seasonal requirements.
