ACCIDENT.

Yesterday morning a young man named Joe Hartman, who lives with his parents in the alley or street between Holman and Kip streets, was at work in the Hemingray Glass-works, when, in lifting some glassware, part of it fell, striking him in the hand and cutting a large gash in the wrist. The blood poured out profusely, and on examination an artery was found severed. Dr. H. L. Lewis was hastily summoned, and rendered the necessary assistance, after which the youth was sent home.
