FRATERNAL AND GENEROUS.

The employes at the Hemingray Glass-works on Saturday afternoon made up a purse for the benefit of Jasper Hall, one of their fellow workmen who a few days ago had his arm and hand terribly lacerated by being caught between the edge of the elevator and the floor. The subscription amounted to about $70. The proprietors of the works, with their well-known generosity, are faithfully doing all of their duty, and more than could be reasonably expected of them, for the benefit and comfort of the injured man.
