Wm. H. Bartels, the inventor of the Elgin kerosene oil can, returns from a trip east this evening, having sold seventy gross, since Monday week. The "Co." comprising of Theo. F. Swan and Walla Eaton, are about commencing manufacturing the cans (glass inlaid,) soon, and it is reported that they have engaged one of Mrs. Lynch's stores, west of the bridge.
