Will Work Seventy-five Men.
The merchandise and machinery of the Laclede Carbon and Electric company, of this city, has all been removed to Kokomo, and the company expects to resume operations in a few days, as they are overcrowded with orders. They will make a specialty of batteries, insulators, cut-out and electrical appliances for wiring buildings. At the start the company will employ about twenty-five men, but within a year they expect to have about seventy-five men at work. Messrs. Burns, McKinley and Turpen left to-day for their new site — Peru Journal.
