SOUTH CAROLINA MANUFACTURES. — A correspondent of the Charleston Courier gives an account of the village of Kaolin, where the Southern Porcelain Manufacturing Company have their works. This place is situated in Edgefield district, about six miles from Augusta, and a mile and a half from Bath, on the South Carolina Railroad. Near the village is a large deposit of porcelain clay. The company have a capital of $50,000, and have erected the necessary buildings for manufacturing purposes.
