ROMANTIC END

TO COURTSHIP

Miss Sue Hemingray Became

the Bride of a Dashing

Polo Player.

The news of the romantic elopement of Miss Sue Hemingray, of Muncie, Ind., daughter of the late Robert Hemingray, the wealthy glass manufacturer, with David Cusick, a well-known polo player, from Fall River, Mass., who is also goal tender for the Kokomo team of the Central League, created the most widespread interest in social circles in Covington, as Miss Hemingray was a great favorite here when the family lived in the city five years ago.

It was a love match, pure and simple. After twice being refused a license at the County Clerk's office at Muncie, the couple took a car to Indianapolis and were married there at 8 o'clock Friday night.

Miss Hemingray had recently returned from a stay in New York. Cusick came to Muncie from Kokomo. Three years previously he had played on the Muncie polo team and his fine work first attracted the admiring attention of Miss Hemingray, and from admiration to love was a quick jump.

The couple were quietly married at the Imperial Hotel in Indianapolis by Rev. Joshua Stansfleld.
