Muncie has Eight Large Glass

Works and They Will All

Be Run to Their Fullest

Capacity.


The season of '92 and '93 in the glass world is here. The fires in the many factories of this kind over the country are being started and Mun­cie will be right there with the best of them and have eight factories working to their full capacity and giving employment to several hun­dred men.

Many of these people have been in the east for the past several weeks visiting their old homes, but they all gladly return to the Magic City nod will be with us for the next several months.

The pay roll of our glass factories reach thousands of dollars every month, and their active operation simulates business in every branch of trade.

Muncie in proud of them, and welcomes back the old employees who have been away as well as the new ones from the east.

The factories that are here and will run during the season are Maring, Hart & Co., C. H. Over & Co., Hemingray Bros. flint, green bottle and stamping works. Nelson Glass Company, Muncie bottle works and the Port works.
