DEATH ROLL


MRS. MARY HEMINGRAY.

 

Mrs. Mary Hemingray, widow of Rob­ert Hemingray, died Monday morning at the family homestead in Covington. Mrs. Hemingray was in the 81st year of her age. She had been ill for several months and her death was not unexpected. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her devoted children and grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Hemingray went to Covington from Pennsylvania over fifty years ago. Mrs. Hemingray was a member of the First Baptist Church of that city and at one time her son-in-law. Dr. W. H. Felix, of this county, was her pastor.

Those of her children who survive her are: Mrs. William Felix, of Chilesburg, this county ; Mrs. Bradford Shinkle, Daniel C. Hemingray, Robert Hemingray of Covington, and Ralph Hemingray of Muncie, Ind.

The funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday afternoon by Rev. W. H. Felix, of Chilesburg, as­sisted by Rev. C. G. Jones, of the First Baptist Church, of Covington.
