When the members of the Muncie lodge were forming in West Charles street last Thursday afternoon for the big parade, which was the most spectacular feature of the big annual gathering of the Indiana Elks' association, Dan C. Hemingray, a life member of the lodge, was photo­graphed as above by the Star’s staff photographer. Dan thought the Star man was "just making believe" and posed for the picture while the crowd of Elks gathered around and had many a joke over the incident. Dan's home is in Covington. Ky., but he is well known and very popular in Muncie. He is a brother of Ralph G.. Hemingray, the two being the leading members of the Hemingray Glass company.
