Funeral Rites

at Sawtelle

Robert C. Hemingray, a resident of Sierra Madre until two years ago, passed away suddenly Tuesday about noontime. He with Mrs. Hemingray drove from their home, 615 1/2 Mission St., South Pasadena, to this city to consult the family physician. Mrs. Hemingray, leaving her husband in the car while she made arrangements in the doctor's office, returned to find he had passed away, apparently fallen asleep. Mr. Hemingray, 67, has lived in the State 17 years and was formerly a salesman. A military funeral will be held at the Sawtelle cemetery, 10 a.m., Friday, conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, of which he was a member of the local post.
