Clever Little Comedy Cleverly Presented to a

Bril­liant Gathering of Muncie Society


The Players’ club, of Muncie, happily entertained the members and friends of the club in the Red Men’s hall Monday evening by a charming presentation of a clever one-act comedy by Arthur Lewis Tubbs, entitled, "A Scheme That Failed." It was a play of complication. The following cast presented the piece in a man­ner pleasing to all:

An election was held after the play and the following officers were chosen to act during the coming year: James Bingham, president; Miss Jeannette Love, vice presi­dent; George Benham, treasurer; Thomas L. Ryan, secretary. The following mem­bers were elected as the board of con­trol for the year: Ralph Hemingray. T. F. Rose, Mrs. Hal Kimbrough, Miss Mar­garet Edna Streeter and Mrs. Ed. M. White.

The evening was concluded with a dance. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Heath, of Salt Lake City, were guests.
