CERAMICS COMPANY BUYS

OLD BRIDGE GLASS PLANT


The property of the Brookfield Glass Company at Old Bridge, has been acquired by a syndicate headed by Richard B. Dalton, of Long Island City, and Walter Geer, Jr., of Dobbs Ferry, New York, under the name of the Ceramics Products Corporation with principal offices in Old Bridge. The purchase price includes not only the real estate but all of the equipment used by the Brookfield Glass Company in both their glass and pottery departments.

The property which comprises 150 acres, is located on the Camden & Amboy division of the Pennsylvania railroad, with docks on the South River, to which railroad sidings extend. Repairs have already been started and it is understood that activities at the plant will be resumed shortly.

Max L. Scott, of this city, brought about the sale, acting as broker for the Brookfield Glass Company, while McCarter & English, of Newark, represented the purchasers.
