ENLARGE GLASS PLANT
NEAR TRACT AT HARBOR
Newport Company Reports Signs of
Increasing Industrial Growth
One evidence that the volume of Industrial work at the Los Angeles harbor is rapidly increasing is shown in the plans of the California Glass Insulator company for extension of its plant east of the Dominguez harbor tract, midway between Wilmington and Long Beach.
The F. P. Newport company, sales agents, will take a big excursion trainload of Pasadena people tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock to the harbor and the tract. Saturday the company will take another excursion out of the Pacific Electric depot, Sixth and Los Angeles streets, at 10 o’clock and on Sunday morning at the same hour.
