NAMES OFFICERS
Stockholders Re-elect
Present Officials.
No changes were made in the directing force of the Peoples Trust Company, it was announced today after the annual meeting of stockholders.
The officers re-elected are A. H. Klopfer, ice-president [sic] vice-president; B. F. Shroy [sic] Shroyer, president; F. D. Davis, secretary. W. D. Moreland, assistant secretary. The directors are D. N. Foster, Joseph Sheets, E. J. Whitely, Ward Marshall, A. H. Kruse, H. H. Orr, F. G. Jackson, G. L. Haymond, Robert Miller, V. W. Jones, J. H. Leffler, F. R. Davis and A. R. Lenon.
Three new directors were added to the board of the Delaware County National Bank yesterday and one to the Merchants National Bank.
Named Directors.
Edgar L. Haymond, manager of the Muncie Finance Company; Philip W. McAbee, president of the Hemingray Glass Compnay [sic] Company; and John Udell, secretary of the Muncie Malleable Foundry Company, are the new directors of the Delaware County National Bank. Other members of the board, all of whom were re-elected, are George A. Ball, John W. Smith, M. H. Broderick, C. M. Kimbrough, J. C. O'Harra, W. T. Haymond, J. L. Kimbrough, A. E. Boyce, R. P. Johnson, W. E. Hitchcock, K. A. Oesterle, and C. R. Church.
Officers of the bank will be elected at the next meeting of the board of directors. This meeting will be held early next week.
The name of Ernest E. Spencer, manager of the bond department of the Merchants National Bank, was added to the list of directors of that institution. After the stockholders' meeting the directors re-elected the following officers: Frank B. Bernard, president, C. F. Koontz, vice-president, F. D. Rose, vice-president, Fred Klopfer, vice-president, B. F. Shrayer, cashier; C. C. Wingate, assistant cashier; T. P. Mann, assistant cashier, and F. D. Conyers, assistant cashier.
Hose Heads Trust Company.
The re-elected directors are Eugene Vatet, chairman: E. Ahrtur [sic] Arthur Ball, George A. Ball, P. B. Bernard, Joseph A. Goddard, Myron H. Gray, A. L. Kitselman, Fred Klopfer, C. F. Koontz, C. A. Penzel, F. D. Rose, W. M. Sample, George M. Spencer, W. C. Sampson, D. O. Skillen, C. M. Retherford, J. W. Truitt, George W. Wagner, B. F. Shroyer, secretary.
All officers and directors of the Merchants Trust and Savings Company were re-elcted [sic] re-elected. They are F. D. Rose, president; F. B. Bernard, vice-president; Fred Klopfer, vice-president; H. M. Koontz, secretary; H. B. Shriner, assistant secretary; R. G. Isenbarger, treasurer; directors — F. D. Rose, chairman; George A. Ball, W. H. Ball, F. B. Bernard, Myron H. Gray, A. L. At the annual meeting of the Delaware County Farm Loan Association yesterday at the Chamber of Commerce it was reported that the organization has at present [dollar:$1,445,500] in loans. The fact that there were no delinquents during the last year was believed to be an indication of greater prosperity among rural men.
Clinton Goodpasture was named president of the association for 1927. R. S. Reed was named vice-president; W. J. Clark, secretary and treasurer. Nine directors of the association were elected. They are Clinton Godpasture, R. S. Reed. O. T. Sharp, Harry Carmichael, Herbert Shrover, J. R. Shoemaker, Waldo Painter, and John Robers. One hundred and twenty-two of a total membership of 313 were present at the meeting.
