LEAK IN GLASS TANK

In temperature approximating 1,000 degrees firemen fought a fire under a glass tank at the Hemingray Manu­facturing Company on Macedonia avenue for almost an hour last night. A leak was discovered in the bottom of the tank about 7 o'clock and the fire department was called. Two streams of water were played on the dripping molten glass until the hole was filled with caked glass. The loss will not be great.
