USE GLASS BRICKS
IN PUBLIC GARAGE
The first partly glass brick structure to be put up in Muncie using the new glass product of the Hemingray Division, Owens - Illinois Glass Company, here, will be a modern, two-story and basement, ramp type parking garage at the corner of Howard and Walnut Sts., to be put up by A. G. Owen. Other materials used in the building will be reinforced concrete and steel. The "lubritory" on the ground floor will be of steel and glass bricks, with Neon tube illumination. Mr. Owen says the garage will mave [sic] have a capacity of 200 cars and will be ready for use by the fall of 1936.
