Young Glassworker Found in Street

in Serious Condition.

Clyde Bailey. 20, a well-known young man the South Side, em­ployed at Hemingway's [sic] Hemingray's glass factory, accidentally and almost poisoned him­self last evening by drinking a quan­tity of wine and wood alcohol. Young Bailey fell in front of the house at which he boards, corner of First and Grant streets, last evening, and picked up apparently dead. Dr. Rollin Bunch was summoned and found that the man had been poisoned by taking wine and wood alcohol. The doctor, assisted by Patrolman Jerry Curran, worked over the suffering young man for about two hours before he was brought out of danger. However, the heroic efforts to revive the young man were successful.

The young man will very likely recover within a few days.
