ELMER CURD, Muncie, will celebrate his 90th birthday during an open house 3-6 p.m. Saturday in the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto L. Arrington, 6701 N. Brenda Lane.

Friends and relatives are invit­ed. It is requested gifts be omitted.

Curd worked at Hemingway [sic] Hemingray Glass Co. and Republic Iron and Steel Co. during the 1920s. He worked at Ball Brothers Co. (now Ball Corp.) for 41 years, retiring in 1972. After retirement, he worked part-time at Muncie Avia­tion Co.

He is a member of Modern Woodmen of America, American Flint Glass Workers Union Local 50 and Southside Church of the Nazarene.

He married the former Dorothy Stuart in 1941. He has two chil­dren, Sharon Arrington and Rob­ert Curd, both of Muncie.
