MUNC1E MAN ATTENDS GLASS

MEETING AT ATLANTIC CITY

R. G. Hemingray of the Hemingray Glass company, Muncie, and F. W. Merry, C. L. Gaunt of the Indiana Glass company, Dunkirk, attended the Atlantic City Meeting of the American Association of Flint and Lime Glass manufacturers last week at which a topic of interest was the trade acceptance plan for replacements of open book accounts. A trade acceptance council has been formed in Muncie affiliated with the state council.

Karl O. Oesterle of the Delaware county bank, said Saturday that the trade acceptance would keep merchandise and credits moving in the city and county. It was a federal measure, designed in the interests of business. It was a patriotic measure an aid to general business, and therefore to the prosperity of Delaware county as well as the country at large.
