One Tank at Hemingray's Not to

Shut Down.

The No.2 tank at the Hemingray glass works will continue to operate throughout the entire season. The No. 1 and No. 3 tanks will close one week from next Saturday for a period of three weeks. The workingmen are already planning their vacations. The demand for special kinds of ware made at the local industry is causing a steady run on the No. 1 tank. The shipments in this line this year are said to be the heaviest thus far for many years. The Hemingray is one of the oldest and most substantial factories in the city, and many of the principal workmen there today are those who went into the factory when they were mere boys.
