INSPECT MUNCIE PLANTS
Eight representatives of the Western Electric Company of Schenectady, N. Y., were in the city yesterday on a visit of inspection of the plants of the Hemingray Glass Company and the Indiana Steel and Wire Company. Luncheon was served at the Hotel Roberts and last evening the visitors were entertained at the same hotel as guests of the officials of the two factories. Music was furnished during the banquet by the Siren Jazz Orchestra.
The visitors were enthusiastic in their praise of the plants and of the entire city. The party included G. F. Hessler, New York; D. T. O'Brien, of New York; F. C. Cramond, of Cincinnati; F. H. Swayzee, of New York, A. H. Fairchild, of Philadelphia; G. Nabors, of Chicago; F. Jones, of Pittsburg; and Mr. Blackburn, of Cleveland.
