Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hemingray, of Covington, gave a very pretty party last Monday evening for their granddaughter, Miss Mary Swasey. The occasion was in the nature of a farewell to Miss Swasey's young friends, as Mr. and Mrs. Hemingray, after a life-long residence in Covington, will move the 1st of October to Muncie, Ind. During their resi­dence here they have gathered about them the elect of the three cities, and their going away it greatly regretted by a host of warm and loving friends.
