A. team was forced to bow in a 7 to 0 defeat before the onslaught of the fast Silver Plate team, bringing them down to a tie with the Hemingray nine for first honors of the league. The defeat of the Y team upset the dope, as it is touted as being the fastest team in the league. The game was played on the McCulloch Park diamond. The Silver Plate team was strengthened last week by the addition of several of the fastest players in the city and this fact, coupled with heavy hitting. won the game.
