WILLIAM P. CLARKE.

In the election of William P. Clarke, of this city, to the office of assistant secretary of the American Flint Glass Workers’ union, the delegates at the convention, recently held in Cincinnati, made a popular choice. Although but 29 years old, Mr. Clarke is one of the most widely known glass worker in the midde [sic] middle west. Before being elect­ed to the office which he now holds he was prominent in local lodge circles and has held several offices of im­portance in the local lodge of the association. He was also treasurer of the Muncie Trades council He has re­signed his local offices, also from the position which he held at the Hemingray glass factory, and has moved to Pittsburg to take up the work connected with his new office.
