Cut by Glass

Leo Peabody, the 14-year old son of Peter Peabody, residing on East Kirby avenue, was very seriously injured at the Hemingray glass factory late last night. While carrying some glass he fell. In attempting to catch himself his hands struck the glass, which had dropped to the ground. A gash several inches long was cut in the right hand and the flesh was laid bare to the bone. The lad was taken to Dr. E. B. Mann's office, where his injuries were dressed.
