The Ohio Porcelain Co., the new porcelain factory just completed, is now in operation. W. J. Curry is president, J. C. McQuilkin secretary and W. A. Andrews treasurer.

The Peru Electric Mfg. Co., of Peru, Ind., which was placed in the hands of receiver some time ago, has been started up by the receiver, Mr. Chas. G. Burton, and is now being operated full.

The plant of the Lima Insulator Mfg. Co., of Lima, N. Y., was totally destroyed by fire last week, entalling a loss of about $50,000, almost the entire plant being destroyed. The company will probably rebuild at once although nothing will be decided definitely until the insurance is settled, which will probably be soon.
