NEWS FROM OVER THE TWELFTH DISTRICT (BY KIST NEWS BUREAU) · · TOO MUCH POLO PLAYER Mrs. Dave Cusick May Ask for Divorce — Sensational Marriage. ANDERSON, Ind., Sept. 15. — And again comes the echo of "polo player, girl and divorce." This time it is Mr. and Mrs. Dave Cusick. Mr. Cusick is now in the east and Mrs. Cusick is living with friends in Kokomo. The report comes from that city that the relations between Mr. and Mrs. Cusick are far from being amicable. Mrs. Cusick was formerly Miss Sue Hemingray, a Muncie society leader, and was wrapped up with the playing of Dave Cusick, who then tended goal on the Muncie team. They were soon married under the most sensational circumstances and against the wishes of Mrs. Hemingray and the girl's friends. The young couple went to Kokomo to live but could not get along together. Dave Cusick went east. It is thought that a divorce action will be instituted. · · |
