VIOLENTLY INSANE

Frightens His Family by Sudden

Exhibition of Mental Aberration —

Love Affair the Cause.

Bert Wright, aged 24, became violently insane last night at the home of his father, Abel Wright on the Centennial pike near the Fort Wayne railroad. It required the combined efforts of six strong men to prevent Wright from doing personal injury to himself or some of his friends.

Dr. A. T. Kemper was called and succeeded in quieting the man, who was suffering from the hallucination that an enemy was trying to murder him.

Wright, who was formerly employed in Hemingray's glass house, went to Eaton some time ago to work in the branch of the American Window Glass company located in that town. Friday he returned to his home and complained that he was not feeling well. Since then, he manifested symptoms of mental disorder, but was not at all violent until 6 o'clock last night, when he became suddenly worse. The family were frightened at his actions and called in a number of neighbors to assist in quieting Wright.

The cause of Wright's insanity is attributed to a love affair with a women in Avondale. He has been troubled over his prospects and this added to other complications gave rise to the temporary mental aberration.
