Preparing For Work.
The finishing touches are being put on the glass factories prepatory to the resumption of work. In the window glass houses there can be no action taken pending the adjustment of the wage difference. The manufacturers ask for a ten per cent reduction and the window glass workers' committtee are considering it. The Hemingray, Ball, Port and other glass houses are ready for the fall fires, yet the continued inactivity in the money market and the slow movement of the products makes work impractible before October 1st.
