MUNCIE GLASS AFFAIRS.

Ball Bros. factories at Muncie, Ind., are all working in full. Five tanks are being operated on fruit jars, employing 114 shops, averaging for a day's work, 3,700 jars per shop, making 421,800 jars as a total every day. The white liner department is also on in full and prospects are good for the balance of the blast.

At the Hemingray flint glass plant everything is running full. The new tank is running along well on lamps and iron mold ware and they have installed two new machines to make the Globe jar. Two tanks are making insulators while the fourth tank has been arranged to make shades and caster place ware.
