Carpenter Elected Librarian of

Workingmen's Reading Room.

George Weikle, of the Carpenters' and Joiners Union No. 592, was elected librarian of the Workingmen's Library and Reading rooms at the meeting of the Muncie Trades Council last night. R. F. Mann and T. M. Palmer were chosen as trustees for a term of two years and O. S. Tuttle and John Purfest for three years.

Credentials were received from John Dodd, Jessie O'Neal and Michael Carry of A. F. G. W. U. No. 23 and from Charles Cummistey of Local 115, A. F G. W U. The delegates were seated. Forty members answered the roll call.
