and Chased His Wife.

Last evening about 9 o'clock Mrs. Gillenwater, the divorced wife of Jake Gillenwater, colored, who is employed at Hemingray's glass works, appeared at police headquarters in an excited condition. She said that her divorced husband had been at her home and knocked down her little girl and then chased her through the streets with a big knife and that she finally escaped him by running through John McGuigan's saloon. She said that he wanted her to give him the money she had received from boarders. She will prefer charges against him tomorrow.
