NOT YET SETTLED.
The Juvenile Strikers at Hemingray's
Are Still Out.
The striking boys at the Hemingray glass works are still out, the company refusing to acceed to the demand. Some few of the boys refuse to quit, and with some men are doing part of the work abandoned by the strikers, enabling some work to go on. The company reports that the small boys are being influenced by some of the older ones, and these will be taken back under no circumstances, but that the smaller boys will struggle back to their places and in a short time the entire factory will be on as usual. The strikers and men employed in the factory claim that all the boys in their class are out and that none will return unless all go back at an increase.
