· · The following members of Shannehan's Imperials, who have been camping at Whitney's Ford, returned home yesterday: Captain Bennie Smeltzer, Peter Menard, Jack Berry, Bute Carrol, Jerry Sullivan, Larry Carey and Burt Unks. The boys brought back several large carp and forty soft shell turtle. Captain Smeltzer was the hero of the camp on account of having caught a carp weighing 25 pounds. · · |
