MUNCIE, IND.
By Laurence Carmichael.
Everything is running smoothly at the Hemingray plant at the present, and it looks favorable for a steady run. The plant is making nothing but insulators. We have had our share of illness here as Brother Carl Freeman is off with the dropsy, and is seriously ill; Brother Wm. Shettlesworth has been idle with a strained arm; Brother Geo. Mathewson, one of the oldest, and a charter member of No. 23 has been very sick all this winter, but he is improving at this time. We regret to accept the resignation of Brother William Finan, as he has been a faithful servant and we wish him success in his new business. Borthers Elmer Hilton, Edward Jones and Brother George Hilton have joined the Moose, and are out on the trail. Brother Lon Green has become an Eagle. Brother Wm. Clarke was our guest at our last regular meeting. Brother Allie Barth, our secretary, is the father of a big boy.
