BEGAN WORK YESTERDAY


William Helm and George Crooks, of Anderson, who have the contract for driving the piles for the five wooden trestles on the Cincinnati, Richmond & Muncie railroad between this city and Richmond, arrived there yesterday and immediately commenced work on a small trestle at the rear of Hemingray's glass factory. Mr. Helm stated that they were under contract to com­plete the work in a specified time, and that with good weather they would be able to complete their contract, in the time alloted [sic] allotted them.
