Alfred Meachem, late of Fostoria, now employed at the Hemingray glass works, will depart for Zanesville today to attend the annual meeting of the Flint glass works [sic] workers next week. Alfred is a consistent and conservative labor leader and will make the nominating speech for the candidacy of Charles Edmunds for president.
