He "Was" There.

Editor News:

Having read the statement in the Herald last evening, saying that Hon. George Cromer took part in the Labor Day parade at Indianapolis, but had intruded without an invitation, I desire to refute this charge by asserting that Mr. Cromer was invited to participate by the delegation from Hemingray's glass factory, of Muncie. This is not the first time Mr. Cromer has been cheered by the laboring people. He has always been a great advocate of organized labor and freedom. The laboring class of people, whose cause he has always so faithfully upheld, are desirous to see him sent to the halls of Congress, so that he can there still further advocate their interests as well as he has in Muncie.
